Hi all. Need some suggestions for back pocket carry of my P32 in jeans. Given the nature of tight back pockets of jeans, I need something that will not print the outline of the gun. I have a Graham's Pocket Cookie that I use for front pocket carry, but it prints too easily in the back pocket. How does the Uncle Mike's #1 work in the back pocket? How about the Desantis Nemesis? Thanks in advance.

Regards,
Frank

I carry with a thin wallet in front of the p32, this completely blocks the gun from printing but on some jeans, you an see the gun looking down into the pocket. Something to watch for.
Its easier to grab with the grip facing outboard.
I have a Kramer pocket holster for my J-frame on the way. I am trying to be careful selecting holsters to avoid spending a fortune in drawer queens.

I carry my P32 in a home made wallet holster that I cut from a piece of 8oz leather, the size of the gun on the left side, rounded over the slide, then cut away to just to the rear of the trigger. I then took pieces of solid foam rubber cut the width of the pistol and glued them into the leather to fill in the space outside of the barrel/slide and trigger guard. The rubber keeps the holster from eventually "printing" and makes it look more like a wallet.

To draw, reach into the rear pocket with the fingers in, hook the trigger finger around the grip behind the trigger and withdraw. Reposition finger to fire as you come around. Can't be fired in the holster due to ATF regulations.

If you are good with a stitch puller, you can open up the "tab" on the Uncle Mike's No1 pocket holster, and make a slot for carrying a spare mag. After I did this, I reinforced the corners with hi-tech floss to make sure the seam doesn't open any more than I want.

With the spare mag and the P-32 in place, the whole thing looks almost like a wallet. The spare mag breaks up the shape of the P-32. The whole thing just looks kinds square and wallet-like.

I use an R.J. Hedley back pocket holster. They are about the best you can get. It has an anti-print panel and the innovative design ensures that when you draw your P-32, only the pistol comes out and not the holster too.

See the "Kel-Tec" link and the "How to use Holsters" link.

I can vouch for the quality of Hedleys holsters. I had one for my P32. A good quality holster with a two peice design that "snags" the pocket while drawing so you get a good clean draw. Bad guys tend to laugh at you when you point a loaded holster at them..:D

I'm going to write him tonight and see if he can make me one for my Kahr Mk9.

If you use a back pocket holster, you will have to make sure you wear a pair of jeans with relatively deep back pockets. I have a couple pairs that allow the top of the holster to peek out, which is ok for an untucked shirt, but no good for a tucked in shirt.

Alamo and Red are right...

I have a Hedley back pocket model for my Guardian and another one for my Seecamp.
The anti-print panel makes the holsters look just like a wallet. When you draw, the panel spreads and holds the holster in your pocket. All that comes out is the bad news for the bad guy. Very clean and fast.
Don't forget to also order one of his "pocket mag holders" for an extra magazine. You can carry an extra mag in your pocket with no fear of lint. A back pocket holster and a pocket mag holder is a bargain. Hedley quality is first class too. Your order also comes quickly.

Red: I have RJ cut my anti-print panels a quarter of an inch shorter. It let's the back pocket holster hide in dress pants as well as jeans. Works great! Nobody has EVER spotted my pistol.

I have a Hadley holster for my P32, and it's an excellent design. Since the holster totally masks the outline of the gun, it looks like a wallet. The best part is when the perp asks for your money, you reach for your "wallet" and give it to him! :D

I have a Ken Campbell custom leather holster that I carry my P-32 in and it looks just like a billfold.

The only problem that I've had with backpocket carry is that sometimes the mag release gets pushed in from sitting on the gun and the mag drops out just a bit. If you ever need your gun make darned sure that your mags locked firmly into the gun.
