P32 Belt Clip - Anyone Use It?

It appears to me that carrying a round in the chamber and carrying the "unprotected" trigger of the P-32 inside the waistband with the Belt Clip accessory is a very unsafe method of carry. Does anyone here actually carry the pistol in this fashion? Or do you leave the chamber empty? What are some other discreet (and safe) methods of carrying this pistol? Many thanks in advance!

I recommend a good quality pocket holster that covers the trigger. This not only satisfies your saftey concern, but gives you the added bonus of being able to discreetly put your hand on your pistol for quick deployment if a situation is developing, but doesn't merit actually drawing your weapon.

Ditto. Also, a holster slows down the influx of lint and other debris into the gun. Clean your P32 every couple of weeks and test-fire at least monthsly to make sure you still remember how to point shoot it and also that it is still functional and not clogged up.

It looks like the belt clip was a bad idea for everyday carry. Any recommendations on a good pocket holster and/or ankle holster? The gun is to be used mainly as a back-up piece.

Check Jack Fusilier's site linked from http://www.ktog.org He makes the best $18 leather holsters -- let's just say his holster has been with me 99.9% of my waking hours...and is still in good shape after half a year.

I have the 32 kel tec with a pocket clip. I do not carry a round in the chamber in any gun I carry so this was not a problem. However I was suprised with the amount of lint that got into the barrel. I now am thinking of a holster if I can find one I like. For now the side clip in my pocket does fine.

Oleg,
I went to ktec.org and couldn't find Jack Fusilier's site. Could you please give me some specific directions?

Thanks,
Will

YeeDUDE,
Thanks! I'll order one of these tomorrow. They look pretty good. I just got my P-32 and a front pocket holster from M/D Enterprises. The M/D holster works well (As does everything that I've bought from him!) but for $17.00, I'll get one of these also.
I returned the slide for a hard-chrome model. This looks much better to me, and also should be more resistant to a sweaty pocket. (Summers in Kentucky, ya know.)

Thanks again,
Will

Get an Uncle Mike's nylon handcuff case and
bend the flap outward at just the right
height to break up the print of the gun butt
yet still allow your fingers to grip it.This
makes a sturdy, breathable, inexpensive holster that stays upright in the pocket
and looks like a thin wallet to an observor.
Fits a P32 or Guardian perfectly
