I tried the 16# spring and was quickly rewarded with a slightly improved DA pull and several fail-to-fires. Put the stocker back in. I still have 17# and 18# springs to try.
In my experience, simply changing out the mainspring doesn't yield any great improvements, although many will disagree with that. I think an rp mainspring compliments a good trigger job.
