Anyone got any info on the Walther P22? Saw one and just have to have it. Like the way it looks like it's bigger brothers. How do they shoot? Thanks

They look nice and thats about it.
The grip is too small, even with the extention pulled down.
Even with the 5" "target" barrel it's not all that accurate.
Also it's way over-priced, about $325 in my area.

My brother has one. It's fun to shoot. The grip is small but I don't think it's too small--but my hands aren't real big either. I'm not as accurate with it as I am with my Ruger 22/45 but I haven't shot it nearly as much and am not as good with the sights on it. It's been absolutely flawless with the cheap Blazer ammo that my Ruger has choked on quite a bit.

I think it's a very solid gun, but if you want a target type gun then you should probably look at something else.

My brother bought a P22 about 6 weeks ago. The grip is very small, even for my small hands. I wasn't overly impressed with the accuracy...it's on a par with my Ruger Mk.II, but it is an interesting pistol, that's for sure.
One BIG problem started almost right out of the box, however.....there is a roll pin that goes across the rear of the slide right at the thumb safety. After only about 20 to 30 rounds fired, the rollpin will start to 'walk' out of the slide to the left. This jams the safety and jams the gun. Not good. Walther insists that this is unheard of, but our range's Range Warden has exactly the same problem with HIS new P22......
It seems to be fussy about what ammo it shoots....it wouldn't feed T22's at all, but strangely ate up Blazers like crazy....it does seem to prefer the expensive .22 ammo though, like Eley and Dynamit Nobel.

Have one, it's a disappointment.
The trigger has far to much creep and breaks at six pounds single action. Double action pull is down right painfull. The gun may be capable of very good accuracy but the trigger will never allow you to get there.
Money would be better spent on a Ruger MK or Browning Buckmark.
Take Care
