new to the forum + new owner of a ruger p 95 9mm,,, i like the hogue grips on the ( 5 ) sig 230 & 232's sprinkled about the house,,, i'd like to get some for the p 95 but all i see avail are grips for the p 85,,, will p 85 grips fit the p 95 ? thanks in adv

If its just a slip on grip it probably would but if it is a grip that is held on by screws then I do not believe it would fit. I haven't owned a p85 but I did own a p95 for a while and they do not have a removable/replaceable grip.

Slip on's, yes, if not no. The same bolt on aftermarket grips from a P-85 will fit a P-89. Pretty sure they would fit the P-94 as well.

The P95 has a polymer frame; there are no grips, per se -- as the area where grips are normally mounted are a part of the polymer frame.

The only thing you can do is use a slip-on grip cover. That can make the grip feel better in your hand, or fit better -- but it won't look better.

Check out the Hogue Handall (but other companies make similar slip-ons...) Be sure to scroll down when you open the link, below.

i didn't buy it for looks :) i'll head over to nick's ( firing line - marietta ) tomorrow & see if they've got a slip-on sock,,, thanks, guys ! appreciate your advice

If they don't, you are only a couple of miles from Adventure Outdoors. They will have it.

Another consideration. I've used the Hogue slip on grips in the past and actually prefer the bicycle innertube versions. For around $10 you can buy a tube at Walmart. Cut a 3"or so section out and slide it over the grip. Trim with a sharp knife. All of my AR's and Glocks have them. They add next to nothing to the overall size, but provide a firm, non slip grip. They even fit over finger grooves. You can do a dozen guns for around $10.
