P-32 trigger stop

I took the P-32 to the range tonight, and I couldnt hit a paper plate at 10 yds. The gun felt uncomfortable to shoot, and I couldn't pinpoint the problem.
I put about 25 rounds through it and then a light bulb came on.
I was squeezing too hard and jerking. I have a trigger stop installed, and it was too tall. I had the trigger breaking as I put too much pressure on the trigger stop.
I filed the stop down just a teeny bit, and what do you know! I could hit the plates while moving now. Shoots to point of aim, pretty much.
Wow, what a little tweaking will do for a fella!

I'm glad it worked for you - I was thinking about installing one, but it seems that my P32 trigger breaks just as it's touching the inside back of the triggerguard. The only trigger stop I could install would be a piece of paper :-)

How thick is the trigger stop on your P32?

Big Al - If you e-mail or call and tell them what your trigger is doing they will tell you to send it back for a free fix. I've shot one that had the same symtom. It does not get better by itself. Good luck. John

Big Al--- My trigger stop is about 1/2 of a regular pencil eraser.
