P-22 Ejector;

No, It is not normal. Give your P-22 a good cleaning and oil her up. I have always made it a habit to clean and oil my firearms before I run any ammo thru them.

I use Federal bulk packs without any problems. If you still run into that when you go to the range, try using some high velocity ammo.

I believe the P22 was designed for high velocity

Mine has failed to eject an empty case once, the edge of the case was a little torn. A jeweler's screwdriver (not down the barrel) popped it out, and it's been fine since; that was ~150 rounds ago

It was recommended to me to use dry lube on a P22 as they can get quite dirty and oil attracts even more debris.

I have used mini-mags from CCI and Winchester Wildcat ammo with no problems at all in my P22. Fun little pistol

Called S&W this morning and thay told me to shoot it put 100rds thru it worked fine but still won't eject a loaded round figure that one out. Smith is sending a return voucher so guess I'll send it back I do believe it should eject a loaded round.
