oxpho or dicropan blue?

I have a smith 442 which needs a little touch up...the gun is not really a deep blue like the old smiths or colts but more of a flat black...which blue would be best for a match? It is only on the crane and cylynder so I don't need an aluminum blue, just regular steel...

Dicropan is more black than oxpho-blue. In fact Dicropan is advertised to blend well with all blacks. I have used both. I would recommend you use Dicropan for your almost black finish. Hope this helps
