Oxidized MrkII bolt

There is a spot of oxidization on the bolt of the little MrkII(6" barrel is still little). Anyway to get this off? I tried scrubbing it with Hoppes#9, that didnt work, so I gave up. Yes it is sad, yes I am O.K. with this. Also, what can I do to get rid of the spots of Oxidization along the backstrap, and the rear of the reciever, behind the bolt. It is a blued gun, so nothing nasty.
 
You might try Flitz metal polish it works great for me. It is not supposed to harm blued guns. You can get it at most hardware stores.
 
I second the Flitz. Flitz in non-abrasive. It works by chemical reaction. As you rub, you'll see the cloth start getting rusty colored then turn black. Don't worry about it. The rust color is the rust coming off and the black is the chemical reaction working. Once you get the rust off, use some cold bluing to touch up the spots.
