OWB revolver CCW choice?

OK. I am in a position that requires a large amount of physical activity. It is inside. I am thinking my BHP IWB needs rethinking. I wear business casual. My desire is 6 shots, HKS speedloaders on belt, fixed sights and I prefer rubber grips Gripper by Pachmayr is my favourite. I also would like your suggestions for leather. I already have S&W Ks in 38/357 with 2" round butt and 4" square butt. M10 and M65 S&Ws.

I have several guns I carry on a regular basis. As for my favorite revolver rig, it is a S&W Model 66 2.5 inch Wilson Combat Custom. I carry it in an El Paso Saddlery Co. Street Combat open top holster. This combination is very comfortable while sitting or during physical activity. As for the speed loaders, I use a double pouch when at the range, but wearing them on the belt for concealment is a bit bulky for me. I prefer to throw them in a jacket pocket. Sounds like you already have the revolver you need. If the holster sounds like something you're interested in the website is: www.epsaddlery.com

Good luck finding the right combo.

My primary CCW Revolver is a Smith&Wesson Model 65, three inch barrel. I carry a single speed loader in a top snap Andrews wrap around pouch, and I carry the 65 in an Andrews Tension Saddle OWB rig. I use a good wide belt.

I have heard great things about El Paso Saddlery's Street Combat holster. I intend to pick one up for my 2" M15.

Step two will be to live in an area that actualy allows me to legally defend myself...

I use Don Hume 721 OT's for a 3" Ruger GP-100, and a Smith 66, both heavy. Nice holster at a fair price and for some reason it doesn't pull the pants down.

Just my two cents on revolver rigs... I've carried wheelies for many years and have tried way too much leather before finding stuff that works.

As far as speedloaders go, you have two options, belt or jacket pocket carry.

belt carry, decent designs are:

Galco A35 split six holder
Cunningham Leather over the belt speedloader pouch
Del Fatti SLC or speedloader pouch (splits cartridges astride and atop the belt)
Andrews wrap-around pouch is also a good one.
Rosen makes a speedloader pouch that ain't half bad either, but is pricey.

consider stashing a speed strip somewhere as well. They lie flat and fit almost anywhere (great for painter jeans pocket or jeans mini-pocket, also fits the change pocket inside of jacket pockets in well made coat).

Good leather for revolvers can be had:
Tucker Texas Heritage IWB (but extremely comfy for such a design)
Alessi Belt Slide Scabbard
Bell Charter Oak makes a complete series of belt slides, cross-draws, and other snub revolver holsters from the Chic Gaylord inspired models at very fair prices.
Don Hume also mjakes a decent, and economical OWB for K-frames.
DeSantis Speed Scabbard is also a decent, mass-produced design.

If you wanted an entire rig that matched, consider Wild BIll's Concealment. he was running a special on double-ply belt, double speedloader pouch, and holster for something to the tune of $119 +S/H. He had 3 or 4 different belt holster options to choose from.
