Outers Foul Out II for Rem LTR

I have an Outers Foul Out II that I have successfully used to get lead out of handgun barrels.

Is there any problem with using this gizmo to clean rifle barrels of copper fouling? Any damage to the barrel?

Seems like a lot easier way to get copper out than swabbing and brushing 50 to 100 times.

What have you got against buying patches by the case!?! I have to do a lot of scrubbing on my blue 700 bbl. 2 hrs of shooting, followed by at least 2 days of cleaning!

I wonder if a better bbl might be easier to clean, but this one is pretty good for accuracy (often less than 1/2 inch, 3 shots, 308).
