Hi, not sure if this is the right section to ask.
I live in NYC and like to go shooting once in a while and would like to know of any ranges that rent guns. Preferably outdoor and that rents rifles. I guess one in PA would be best since they would seem to have the best selection of guns (not having half their arsenal banned by some stupid law or regulation).
I currently go to the Sunset Hill shooting range up in Henryville, PA. It's not bad by any means. Good selection of guns and friendly staff. Problem is it's too touristy and doesn't let you do any serious shooting. It's set up to just let you pop off 8-10 rounds from a gun and move on to the next one with a staff member tallying each one up. Probably more for NYers who just want to quickly see what all those "gun-nuts" are excited about.
I would love something where I can just rent a couple of guns and some ammo and just pick a lane and do my own thing for a while.
