Out of Control Tax and Spend

I notice the media is suddenly reporting another 90 billion$ increase by congress to support military efforts in Iraq and Ahfganistan. After some research on MSNBC, I find a total bill of around 400 billion from 2001-2006. Not to earth shattering, plus we haven't had any more nuts fly planes into our skyscrapers!

Yet,I have a hard time finding info on how much you and I had to pay for social programs from these same so called media sources. After checking with some more reliable sources: Minnesota tax payers league, Wall Stree Journal, Moneynews.com, Newsmax.com I see we paid , 1.3 TRILLION in 2005 alone for social programs.
Is this what LBJ had in mind?

The liberal media seems to be very vague on social spending. Our own Minneapolis Star Tribune news paper( which is left of Carl Marx) attacks Minnesota Tax Payers League. weekly. This so called NEWS paper did, for example, report about a new law that would limit welfare entitlements to 5 years, but never reported how many of those folks were simply converted to disabilty payments after their welfare was dicontinued. Last year tax payer funding for sex change surgury was eliminated, funny thing is, most folks never new they were paying for it. We now have a surplus in MN and a great Gov, Tim Pawlenty(R) The liberals have a bill on the table to increase sales tax state wide by .25%, and gas tax by 20 cents, WHY?

I have found that by joining the group "Minnesota Tax Payers League" for almost 1 year. I now have at least a tiny bit of power to interrupt this massive tax and spend government.

Do you know what your paying for in your community? Do you have a trust worthy source to inform you such as your local tax payers org or ATR Americans for Tax REFORM. Don't trust CNN/NYT or even your local news to tell you the truth anymore. Remember, your own tax money is even used against you as gun owner and worse, to make more sneaky laws to steal more of our money!

I know this a very lite summery of the tax problems we face, but I wanted to open the debate and see what my fellow gun owners think about taxes spending and how you are or are NOT being informed about it.

November is not far away!

I used to live in Charlotte before I went over the wall. Spending in NC in general and Charlotte is un-freakin' believable. Government has completely lost any sense of restraint. Several factors are at work that spell the perfect fiscal storm.

First, government is in the hands of one party. The mayor is of the opposition party but he is pretty much a bootlikker of the corporate rulers. Second, the city is in the grip of a blissninny, one-world agenda (c.f. Agenda 21, etc.) powered by corporate rulers, bootlikking politicans, and garden variety corruption. Third, the city is being invaded by hordes or relocated outsiders. They will come from cities where they pay outlandish taxes and will happily accept a 50% reduction. Native rednecks don't see a 50% reduction but rather a 75% increase. Outsiders are grinning and rednecks are choking. Bottom line is all the forces are lined up for uncontrolled spending until there is a general revolt at the ballot box.

So how does the public learn of the nonsense? Perfect example of how media works. The house organ of the power structure is the Charlotte Observer. The paper will do nothing to challenge the rulers. . . .at least until it gets the public PO'd. Great example is the number of child murders the city experiences. Previous years there was something 6 to 8. The stories typically had one day play and disappeared. Since January of 2006 the city has been killing children at a rate of 1 / week. Sometime in February a high level executive of a major bank murdered his two kids. Instant news in the Observer because he was part of the ruling class. The Observer said nothing about the problem in previous years but does so now.

The public is now smarting up because of alternative media. Talk radio has raised hell with the out of control spending namin names, citing facts, and pointing corruption. Alternative papers and muckrakers with access to public media are all helping. None of the change in public awareness is coming through the city's house organ. If the problem is bad enough people will act. It will take education and people and organization not sucking at the power structure teat.
