Our old friend Stephan A. Camp

I was thinking, today, about the number of posters I've run into, on various gun boards, over the last 10-15 years.

Some of those boards, like this one, still exist, as do "The High Road," and a few others that have been around a long time. Some are gone, like "Shooters.com," and boards whose names I no longer remember, but, whose members have contributed to my thought about the use of weapons generally, and the surety of the second amendment specifically.

My own participation on various boards has declined in recent years, but I have never forgotten the learning and information obtained form some truly brilliant board participants, among them our old friend Stephan A. Camp, who passed away a couple of years ago.

Mr. Camp and I never met, some of you will likely be able to add more personal thought to his memory. We traded a few emails as we both loved Hi-Powers; but I can't say we were friends. Still, I learned a lot that I would not have known had he been a regular poster.

Recently, I ran across one of his posts and I was reminded of the significance, and depth, of his knowledge.

For those of us who read his posts, this will be a reminder of his thoughtful writing; and, perhaps an inspiration to re-read them....

For those of you too young, or too new, to remember his contributions to the the board, I would suggest researching his writings.
