Our civil rights are on the way out!

Terrible horrible tragedy in Boston. And to think our anti-gun politicians were gloating about all the new anti-second Amendment anti-gun laws! They thought they would stop the murders by banning EVIL guns! What will our politicians do next? Ban running? Limit to only 10 people? Mandatory background checks on everybody at the event? We have an open society and I'm afraid that we are losing our freedom for many things because our politicians think they can control everything by just passing more and more restrictions and laws. Another sad day for our country. The Terrorists will only win if they cause our leaders to take away our rights and freedom.

The bombings in Boston are indeed horrible, but the fact that a crime has been committed doesn't make it on topic for this forum. Since nothing is known yet about the origin of the attack, we're not going to speculate about it.
