Don't let this happen to you:
I have a small auto-folder knife - with the clip in the "wrong direction."
I was jumping into my friends Porche 916 to take it for a spin. As I was sitting down, the knife opened. The way I was sliding down into the seat - well let me just say it opened my flesh with a 1 inch wide cut going about 1 inch deep!
The cool thing is - the knife is so sharp I did not feel the cut initially.
After I stopped the bleeding - the cut took only a piece of tape to close... so it turned out okay. The only hard part was getting the blade out of both me and the pocket.
I consider this pennance for my knife sins. Like selling off an Emerson Comander just cause I needed the cash... I should have sold a pint of blood instead. Now I am out both.
