Out of curiosity, is anybody under the impression that the troops are receiving anything but near-universal support and thanks? It seems sometimes like people are suggesting this, but I've not seen it. You've got a couple fringe elements that may actually speak out against our soldiers, but that's about it. Everything else I've ever heard that was supposedly "against the troops," was actually just against the war...and the two are totally different. Anti-war protesters have in general been just as supportive towards me as anybody else.
Heck, I've attended anti-war protests. I hope nobody's suggesting I'm "against the troops." (For anybody not aware, I'm an Iraq veteran and still serving in the reserve component)
Not that the video wasn't sweet, just that there wasn't a lot to discuss there and I think the larger implications are interesting.
