(OT) Thanks and fellow Oregonians

I just wanted to express my thanks to many of the people on this board. I've enjoyed many topics/posts and spend way, WAY too much time on this computer/in these forums. To my fellow Oregonians(sp) I would like to see if we can get together sometime. I missed a great opportunity to meet other TFL'ers in Idaho (Kaylee and others) and I regret that now. It was a spur of the moment thing and I was in the process of moving (or deciding to move) at the time. I may yet get to meet them since I have friends in Idaho and will prob. get back. But, for the time being, I plan on staying in Oregon for awhile. I now have a job and hopefully, this summer, will have saved up enough to go to Portland or (I forgot if it was Coo's bay or Florence) for a meeting (casual, laid back, etc) of fellow Oregon TFL'ers. Since I am not a great coordinator of such things, if another Oregonian want's to take over, that would be great. But I would like to meet some of the folks I've "spoken" too over the computer. Thanks.

Sounds like a good idea to me. I'm on the wrong end of the coast to make Coos Bay convenient and Florence would be much handier for you if somewhere on the coast is what you're looking for. It might be easier to gather members in the Portland area where, presumably, there are more.

Let's try to keep this thread close to the top for a while and see if you get some more replies.
