Sorry folks, wouldnt ordinarily do this, but: Have been seeing a lot of post about sites being down. Here's a possible reason: For the last couple days, and continuing for about the next week, is the semi-annual solar conjunctions. That's what happens twice a year, when the Sun happens to traverse that portion of the sky that communications satellites reside in. When the Sun passes "behind" a satellite, then the receiving station is unable to make out the signal; it gets trashed by the Sun. These outages are usually only about 10-15 minutes in length.
Of course, it could all just be broken WAN links between routers, too.... sorry for the interruption, and we'll now return you to your regularly scheduled shooting forum
