I was wondering if anyone could tell me about this particular AR-15. Mostly I'm looking at the manufacturing quality of the lower. Where they to Mil spec or where they crap (not saying non-mil is crap, but I'm pretty sure this one's not match grade)? Also what would a complete one of these go for (pre-ban, legal-CAR configuration)?

Is this a trick question? Like who makes Bushmaster (Quality Parts Company)?

Just kicking it to the top, because I am curious to see the answer to your questions.
 
The only thing I liked in that link was the expiration date.

it was prolly a small builder making the rifles up from parts

whats the rifle look like?
is the lower cast or forged?

as a prepan its worth around a grand

i will ask on the AR15 list

It looks like a typical civilian legal (non-SBR) CAR with short barrel and long flash suppressor.

Didn't check the receiver to see if it was cast or forged. Better do that.

Thanks for your help and let me know what they have to say over at the AR15 lists.

those 11.5 inch barrels with 4.5 inch flash hiders don't provide adequate FPS fer longer range COM shooting

me thinks this was a small shop operation

any markings on the barrel?

Is the lettering on the lower engraved in or cast on?

Didn't check the barrel and I can't remember how the receiver markings were done. Never thought to check that (the lower that is). I'll remember to check that next time. Thanks for the tips.
