options other than x&x titanium

Wife just took a NRA pistol class and she wants a CC gun. She shot a x&x titanium .38 snub nosed and liked it. Shot better well with it. My choices are preagreement x&x or? How are the Ruger and Taurus titaniums holding out? I believe they all only come in .38. All view points appreciated!

Here is a link to Taurus' Ti guns. They even have a .357 Magnum and .41 Magnum, which I imagine would be a kick-in-the-pants from a 20 ounce gun.

Take a good, long look at the recent offerings from Taurus. They are working overtime to get past their former reputation for poor quality, and they are succeeding, at least in my opinion.

Their magnums are almost all ported, which would suck out loud if she ever has to use it at night. But, the additional flash and blast MIGHT just help "discourage" the BG's, too.
