Hello all.
While I have shot and currently own a pretty fair collection of auto-loaders, I am embarassingly unknowlegeable about revovlers. I do own a Model 625 that is unbelievable easy to shoot well.
A local establishment has a 1970 NIB Model 37 Airweight for sale. It is blued, with the wooden handle (dont know if that is the way they all came). It also says something about a Chiefs Special.
While I am not usually a huge fan of very small pistols, this one has some strange attraction for me. I usually own and shoot .45 ACP, 9mm and such, but feel that the proper load in a .38 Special would be a perfectly acceptable self defense tool. I do handload, although not currently in 38 Special.
This gun is indeed like new. I examined it closely and it has no wear, in fact looks as if unfired. Would it be worth the $400 they have it priced at?
Anyone with positive or negative opinions please comment.
Thanks.
Casey
