Am thinking of going with a new Benelli Supernova Tactical (18"), can get one for around $359.00, what do you think ?

I think you can get a Remington 870P new for the same price, or build an older one for about the same.

It might help if you clarify what you intend using it for. For a long-range goose gun, there are better choices.
