Opinions sought on Colt Delta Gold Cup 10mm

I have an opportunity to obtain a Colt Delta Gold Cup combat stainless in 10mm (seller's description), supposedly fired once. Price is negotiable, under blue book condition value.

Does anyone have any experience good or bad with this model and the 10mm round? I have heard opinions on various Colt autos from POS to very good.

Any insights, experiences, opinions would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

I've not heard of the "Delta Gold Cup" Combat stainless but I do have the "Delta Elite" in 10mm.

My experience with the 10mm round is that it is a kicker and very hot. You have to be careful with the empty cases as they come ejecting out at around 500 mph and can hurt others within a half mile radius. :D Well maybe not that bad but it does chunk them out there.

Mine is accurate enough and has given no problems. Only put about 1,500 rounds through it though, however it was bought used. 10mm has lots of power.

I also have the Delta Elite model rather than the Gold Cup. I bought it new and haven't put too many rounds through it. So far it's been very reliable and reasonably accurate. However, it's got a poor trigger and one of the white dots on the rear sight popped out (recoil can be stout). Otherwise, I'm pleased with the pistol.
