Opinions on Star Megastar .45?

It seems I am going to buy one without ever seeing or handling an example. The size appealed to me because the reduce should be quite modest. And the 12 round capacity is 50% greater than my other .45's. I don't plan to carry this hunk of metal, which weighs three pounds UNLOADED.

Replacement parts will be tuff to find and 12 round mags are very expensive, but if it shoots as good as my firestar .45 did it should be a good pistol. Mark

I traded my Charles Daly DDA 10-45 to Railroader for his Firestar .45 and we both feel we got a good trade...I like the all steel (even if it is heavy) and he likes the polymer DDA...it IS heavy but I had it in a holster the other day and while you KNOW it's there...it's not that bad...great little powerhouse!
Tony.
