Opinions on Shepherd Scopes

I am looking at scoping an AR-15 and an FAL and was looking for information from experienced users/authorities of the Shepherd dual-reticle scopes. I posted this on the ar15.com forum, but was looking for other resource bases as well--YOU!

Please give me the scoop!
