I have a variety of pistols which I may want to swap out sites on, from 1911, to Glock, to Zastava and CZ and XD, M&P etc.

Not really wanting to pay a gunsmith $ each time.

One method is to carefully hammer them off and on. Screw up just once and it can cost a lot of money/damage.

Another method is this $60- $100 sight removal tool with variety of blocks to fit various gun designs. It looks really easy and much less cringe worthy than beating on the gun with tools.

Seems like a few changes and it pays for itself.

Are there other good options. What do folks use?

IME, sight pushers work OK as long as you spend the money for a gun-specific pusher, they run about $150. A punch and hammer works every time. The universal "one-size-fits-all" simply do not work well.
