Opinions on Glock with Bar-Sto barrel

I saw a Glock on American shooter. It was a G24. It said that you could buy barrels from Bar-Sto and change calibers for about $200. Is that a good deal?

Although the Bar-Sto is probably the best of the after market barrels (I have several) for Glocks, their "simi drop-in" barrels often DON'T! That's not a knock on Bar-Sto as they admit this up front in their literature. I hear so many people insist on an aftermarket barrel that "drops in" yet gives "match accuracy" that it makes me wonder. Those same people will pitch a fit when their semi drop-in doesn't fit, or function as well as the factory.

By the way, Bar-Sto will fit the semi drop-in for free, you just pay shipping. Two of my Glocks have been 100% reliable since having them "fit" the barrels. If you want the ultimate in accuracy get their fitted barrel, which not surprisingly needs to be fitted.

I have a Bar Sto 9mm conversion barrel for my G35. It was a Drop-In and it did indeed drop right in. Very good fit and more accurate than my friend's stock G34. I've had it for nearly two years and several thousand rounds and it has never stuttered once.

Can't say enough about Bar Sto. You really do get what you pay for.

By the way, I changed calibers to keep my Major for the other shoots while being able to use the 9mm for IDPA. Not to mention cheaper ammo for practice.

BAR-STO BBLS ARE THE PICK OF THE LITTER.

When GOD needs a new barrel he calls Irv Stone II at BAR-STO, tosses a CC number at him, and waits 60 days like all the rest of us.
BAR-STO BARRELS ARE NOTHING SHORT OF SUPERB.

I don't know how they make something that fine at the price they charge, guys.
