Opinions on CZ75B tagged Turkish Ministry

Any substantial difference from the current production? (I did a search here, zip, and read darn near everything anyway.) The gun is not marked Turkish Ministry, but the dealer said it is a contract overrun. Black polymer, thumbrest grip panels, painted-dot sights, 1-15,1-10, very nice trigger, 4xxxN. I like this one, but they had another 75B for $50 more($400), blue, flatter panels, painted-dot, 1-10rd, 9xxxR. I neglected to write down which was marked Kansas City and which was Kali(Action Arms?) Thanks. John

It's not a Turkish contract pistol. Those postols bear the crest of the Turkish government. CZ sold them w hile back with one preban and one postban mags for about $400.

All of this describes the current CZ75B. The extra mag makes me think it's what they now call the "military" model.

What do the grips look like? Are you sure it's a CZ75B? If it says Action Arms then it's a CZ75. What does the trigger guard look like? Is it rounded or hooked? Are the slide's grip serration deep (scalloped) or not? It could also be an MRI (Magnum Research Inc.) import. It should cleary say on the left side whether it's a CZ75 or CZ75B.

Lots of talk about CZs here. Make sure you search the archives.

So many pistols, so little money.

Thanks for the info. on the Turkish contract guns. I searched and read - my head's swimming w/fact & opinion. They are both marked 75B, have a hooked trigger guard and no scalloped serrations. I'm not sure about the Action Arms part, but one of them was marked Kansas City and one California. I'll look again tomorrow and see what the 'real' prices are. $350 looks to be so-so for a current military model. The Blue Book shows them listing for $429 and selling for $365 in 100% condition. We'll see. Thanks for info. John

Kansas City and California makes sense. CZUSA opened its offices in KC, then went to CA, and later returned to KC. Go figure.

If they're both CZ75Bs I'd get the one with the preban mag. You can get factory new prebans from CZUSA for about $45.

Hmm, for fifty dollars less, you get a gun that is functionally the same, and comes with one 15rd mag? Extra's of these will cost you $45 each, so you might as well look at that other gun as being $95 dollars more.

Thanks for the help. I think I'll check the other four stores in the area before I go back to negotiate. John
