Opinions on Adams & Bennett 10/22 Heavy Barrel?

I am thinking about buying a hogue stock and Adams & Bennet Barrel for my 10/22. How good are these barrels? Are they capable of .5" at 50 yards? Basically are they worth my money or should I pass. I can get the combo for 120 bucks new. Thanks in advance.... Larz

There is no such manufacturer as Adams and Bennett. A&B is the tradename that Midway uses for their house brand of barrels. They use at least three manufacturers, and what you get is a just the luck of the draw. Some of those barrels are tackdrivers; others are just so-so.
