Opinions on .20g vs .12g for Home Defense

I have a Win Defender in .20g for home defense. I choose this gauge over the .12 for ease of shooting. I think I choose the right gauge. Any opinions?

A 20 will work just fine especially with a larger shot size. I usually keep my 12 loaded wiht #1 buck.
I think you made the right choice with a 20, getting the one that works best with you as far as shootability.
