Nice little rifles. I sold mine because the stock didnt fit me well. It wouldnt allow me to put my cheek down as low as I like to. Sort of a high stock. I would be great if you wanted a scope on it though. Fit is an individual thing, and not at all the fault of the rifle. They really are nice guns.

JL - I had one when I was a kid.
The short pump action on it is pretty handy, it has a decent set of open sights, the 15 round tube mag will allow you to feed shorts, longs and LR's interchangeably (tho I never did this - I always used 22 LR) and the top of the receiver has a grooved dovetail for easy mounting and unmounting if you want to scope it.
Mine was also pretty darned accurate. It was manufactured in the mid 60's, so I don't know if they've changed for the better or for the worse with regards to quality.
I poured thousands of rounds through that little rifle with nary a problem. I'd still have it if it wasn't stolen from my parents house when I was away at college.
