Opinions needed from Volquartsen 22 Magnum owners

So I'm now in a .22 acquisition mode, having had excellent experience with CZ452, SIG 522 and Ruger 10/22. I'm now thinking of expanding my horizons into 22 Magnum territory, since there is a local ad with one for sale.

I've never shot a Volauartsen before and I don't know anybody local that has one to try. Lots of good hearsay on the net but precious little in the way of actual reviews. The most cohesive I read was from the chuckhawks website.

If you have any any personal experience with this rifle, I would appreciate you chiming in.

I'd be curious too. Semi-auto .22 Mags are notorious for bad extraction -- no-one has ever really made one that was more reliable than being tolerated. I looked at Volquartsen's guns. They have a laminated orange and grey silhouette stock that is just stunning. OK, maybe it reminds me of a Cream-sickle on a subliminal level, but, I love Cream-sickles! Alright, ALL icecream, but that's a story for another day...

One size does not fit all !!

Then there's the BRNO ZKM611. Certainly an exception ......

The only thing I can say about the Volquartsens, is that they are a first rate company with excellent products and support. .... ;)

Be Safe !!!
