Opinions needed for next TFL shirt batch

Ok I'm going to do it again. I've got a few questions though. And I need your opinions. Please just folks who are actually going to order respond.

First off the logo on the front will be a few inches bigger. Thats already being taken care of. The regular t-shirts will be the same as last time only with a little bit bigger logo.

I'm thinking about a few other options:

1. How many of you want a really big logo on back? And if so would you be willing to pay an extra $4.00 (screen art charge) for it. The logo would be same, only going all the way across the back. The front would still have the same logo.

2. Do you think that $10-$12 is fair for a quality hat? Adjustable, 5 panel, soft, low profile w/ the logo going across the front panel.

3. I can get golf shirts but they cost a lot more. They are heavy weight fruit of the loom, with collar. These would probably start at about $20.

I will probably post the ordering info tomorrow night after I decide what to do about some of these options.

Thanks
Larry Correia

A word of warning about those "low-profile" hats: They don't fit a lot of people right, be sure they are what you want before you commit to a certain style.

Also: How about adding www.thefiringline.com under the logo on the front of the shirt?

I like the idea of a larger logo on the front, as long as it's to scale and not just stretched.

Thanks Larry. :)

I like the idea of logos on front and back. I just want a t-shirt (long-sleeved if that is still an option). I don't wear hats too often.

sounds good and I prefer long sleeves myself. I'd rather a TFL patch that I can sew on my riding leather. I wear a cap occaisionally but the leathers get worn everywhere. :)

I would be interested in a golf shirt with a collar and with a pocket but no logo on the back -- but a small logo on or around the pocket. Put me down for two or three in extra large.

Larry, you got my order...

The Hat? Thats very reasonable.

The big back side logo? Love it.
Perfect Gun Show shirt! Do it. I'll pay 4 bucks more for that.

I'd prefer no logo on the back. Long-sleeve t-shirts are a good idea, especially for those of us who wear gun-theme shirts to competitions and training classes -- going prone is hard on the elbows!

$12 for a hat is good, around here we're usually talking $15-20.

While I wear golf shirts to work almost every day, I'm sick of them so I wouldn't order a golf shirt -- so no opinion on that one.

Thanks for taking the effort!

Correia,

You realize if 20 people answer this you're going to get 20 different opinions... :D Oh well, here's mine ...

Big logo on back just fine and reasonable for $4. I prefer short sleeved T-shirt, all though I may get both short and long sleeved if they are offered. I don't wear hats much and I hate golf shirts.

My $0.02 worth...
1) I'm with jtuang on the long sleeve T shirts. I wouldn't mind getting a couple of those.

2) I would prefer nothing on the back.

3) I like the idea of www.thefiringline.com, underneath the logo.

4) This time I'll be paying a little closer attention, and get an order in.

I could go with or without a logo on the back. Are the T-shirts Fruit of the Loom also? If so I may want a larger size. Been my experience in the past they tend to shrink more than others.

Larry,

Once Again, thank you for taking on the TFL "Tee Shirt Detail". I plan to buy another shirt and a hat, but I probably won't get a polo shirt.

Regards.

Bigger logo on front is good. Great big logo on back is great! Hat sounds good too. Is that a summer mesh hat or a winter hat? I'd prefer mesh.
Let us know when to order. I'm in for some more stuff.

No polo for me. A long sleeved t would be good.
No logo on back for me, I like the shirts we have, but would prefer a larger logo front only.
I agree, no black for me, too many animals in my house, that's why I have a lot of gray!
Thanks for asking again ,Larry.
And yes, 10-12 bucks is very reasonable for a hat. I can sell Cat logo hats for that all day.

And if you hear from my Louise, won't you tell her I love her so?

Ok, to answer some of the questions:

Most of the shirts are not fruit of the loom, only the golf shirts. The rest are mostly from Port & Company (No I had never heard of them either but they are good shirts) They are preshrunk, but any thing can shrink depending upon how it is washed. None of mine have shrunk, but a few other members say that theirs shrunk a little.

The hats have an adjustable back strap. They aren't mesh, but they aren't heavy either, they are that soft cloth kind. I don't wear hats much unless I'm hiking or shooting, and this is the kind that I prefer, not to heavy, not to light. The colors that I've picked so far are Khaki, Dark Grey, and Khaki with a green brim. The other colors availible just didn't seem to go well with the logo.

The big logo on back will be an option that you can choose to have added for an extra $4. All the regular shirts will have the front logo only.

I don't think that I can add www.thefiringline.com under the front logo with out creating another piece of art and that would raise the price a lot. (There is a one time charge for a new piece of art, and then there would have to be a new screen charge for each shirt, and I'm trying to keep these pretty affordable) Maybe next time?

Screen names under the logo? That would be cool, but I'm just not up to managing that yet. :)

And finally the logo on back will be to scale, not just stretched. Though this is an interesting logo to work with because it is so long and narrow.

I'll post the ordering info tommorow along with prices and the mailing address. I'm not sure of the due date, but I'm going to give it a little more time this time because there where a lot of late orders that came in after the deadline on the last batch. I'll see if I can't use the scanner at my job on Monday to get some pics of my shirts.
