DIVERSITY ONLY COUNTS WHEN YOU'RE A LIBERAL

Apparently, the only people who can celebrate their own diversity are members of the left.

Take Linda Chavez, George W. Bush's pick for Secretary of Labor. She's opposed to affirmative action and bilingual education--which makes her a favorite target of the Democrats. Add the fact that she's one of the most articulate, conservative Hispanic public figures in the country...and as far as the Dems are concerned, Linda Chavez may as well be the bride of Satan.

Yesterday's New York Times reported that "her opposition to affirmative action has caused her to be vilified by civil rights groups and to be physically threatened when she has spoken on college campuses...Her marriage to a Jew, Christopher Gersten, and the rearing of her three sons as Jews, have prompted some to term her a traitor to her people."

That's funny. I thought the left was all about ethnic diversity. Tolerance for interracial mixing and multicolored families. Yet here's Linda Chavez being accused of betraying her Hispanic heritage!

Now we see that "diversity" is a word that can only be used by liberals to describe liberals. Any conservative whose family is "diverse" is either mugging for the cameras, or a traitor to their people. It’s all part of the modern leftist lexicon where “hate speech” is the utterance of any thought in opposition to a leftist principle, and “civil rights” means any right claimed by any member of any officially government sanctioned minority group.

If you stop and think about what's being said about Chavez by the Latino community (if indeed this is true. I have almost zero faith in the accuracy of the NY Times. This could just as well be a reflection of what the writer would LIKE to be true), she's being called what the KKK would term a "Race Traitor."

I guess you can get away with it if you're a pinko, though. What a world we live in.
 
I know the feeling. My wife is Mexican/Yakima Indian and my son had a son by a White/Black woman. So I have a Black/White/Mexican/Indian grandson. What is the reward for this effort at diversity? Tom Metzger, David Duke, Khalil Abdul Mohammed, and Louis Farakahn finally agree on something -- I, my wife, and my progeny, should be DEAD because we're "race mixers".

I once told the President of the Rhode Island NAACP -- after he called me a "friendly racist" -- that I had done more for integration with my penis than he and Jesse Jackson could do with a thousand school buses. Needless to say, he was not pleased -- especially since this was on a major radio station in the Providence area.

I guess they would be happier if she married Jose the gardners helper and raised 6 children on food stamps and AFDC . While taking in laundry from the rich white ladies and cleaning the toilets at Burger King . Not to mention making the rounds of the dumpsters at 5:00 A.M. looking for aluminum cans . These people only want people that they can control . Why do you think Jesse Jackson puts Gen. Powell down ? The son of immigrants and raised in Harlem has gained national stature ON HIS OWN !!!!!He is the epotome of what Jesse hates . It proves that greatness can come to anyone . Jesse likes to hustle his lazier "brers" and show them off as "victims" of this society .
All these people need to reinforce this belief that they are victims . If everyone showed ambition there would be no room for those types . They would have to go out and get REAL JOBS!!!!!!
 
I've decided to check off the box as a native american from now on. I have NA blood in me (I qualify for the NA grants) but I am as pale as the "albino". I don't have the pretty eyes though. I could also, legally, count myself as AA (african american) since my father has AA blood, Jewish, as I have blood from Israel, Mexican (my father again), and white. So, what am I? Am I black? Am I white? Am I indian? Am I mexican? What am I. Well, I can actually answer that one... I am American. I am the product of the "great melting pot". So I guess by the democraps line of thinking... I am a traitor to my Mexican, Native American, Black, White, Jewish people.. oh well, I'm happy with just being called American.

I mark "human" in all the bu))$hit little "race" boxes on government forms. I recommend everyone do it.

I do write "(white)" below that on 4473's, though.
 
Hey! I am a Native American. I was born here. Maybe that isn't the PC definition of Native American but it is correct. Now, American Indian is another thing. If you had a powerful enough microscope, you could find some American Indian blood in me too but it might have bled out sometime in the past.

The only appelation I will accept is just plain old AMERICAN. If you want to be a citizen here, it is what you should aspire to be known as.

As far as marking government forms goes, the government has no business labeling and pigeon-holing groups of people. That practice only serves to promote racial bias.

Don't forget that Farrakhan had that "change of heart" when he came near death from prostate cancer. A la Malcolm X, he is now leaning closer to a true Islamic philosophy as opposed to the Nation of Islam "white devils" nonsense. He now preaches racial harmony and cooperation. From what I have seen, I believe that he is sincere.

Now if we could just get the Nation of Islam poseurs to stop putting veils on prepubescent girls....

To say in a racial question that you are American is correct so long as you are not an imigrant...
 
I think we should put "Slave" in the "race" part of any government form, that is all we are in their eyes

Irish, Scottish, German, English, Cherokee, uh....there's more, but I don't remember.

Small changes I make to government forms:

When asked if a resident of the state, I write "Citizen" next to it.

When asked what race, I either don't answer or put "American Citizen" next to it. So far, no one has even noticed.....

One of these days, I'm going to get ticked off and put N.O.Y.D.B. Let them figure it out.
 
Anyone that's ever sold guns at a store can tell you that helping customers fill out 4473s can be daunting. The BATF doesn't want a race, it wants to see a COLOR. Caucasian is unacceptable. It has to say white.

Trying to explain to someone that they can't put "African-American" in the space can be rough. The ATF demands the word "Black." Doesn't go over to well these days.

They will accept "Asian," though.
