Open Carry Petition for Texas

Currently open carry in TX is heavily restricted. I found this on opencarry.org. They have a petiton going trying to change this.Just wanted to pass this on to my fellow texans.

Well, there's one advantage to open carry, even if you never do it.

In VA, if you accidentally expose your gun, it's not a crime. Go ahead, reach for that box of cookies on the top shelf.

Thats the main reason I'm for open carry. If you print or your shirt comes up too high, you dont run the risk of losing your permit.

It's so bleedin' hot down there. I could not stand going down to TR in the spring or summer as I always had to hid my gun (even when I became legal to carry thanks to Florida).

lol That's what I'm looking forward to - not needing to conceal it.

IMO, conceal carry should also allow for open carry. It just makes sense.
