Open carry legal STATEWIDE WITH a concealed handgun license from the state (very much NOT recommended in some cities regardless of state law. ie: Portland PD WILL arrest you, wether it's legal or not if you open carry in the city).Without a CHL, cities, townships, counties, etc CAN prohibit OPEN carry. Also, the list of specific "off limit" places (schools, jails, hospitals, etc) is different for a CHL holder carrying concealed or open, vs. carrying open with no license.
