Ooo I like this single shot by Freedom arms

A lot of steel, a plow-handle, and it's made by FA. Looks like a winner to me. What I find most impressive in the video, however, is how quickly and easily he worked those flat-head screws. I wish I could do that.

Two things are sure. One is that these will be superbly strong and well-made. The other is that they'll be horrendously expensive.

$

horrendously expensive.

Thought that too. True. The price list shows $1495.00.
Extra barrels are $495.00. Not terribly different than a new T/C Encore complete.
That FA in .308 or 6.5 Mauser would be very nice.

Rather than the Thompson-Centers, it looks a lot more like the Wichita International. It was a single shot, with a sliding lock, with a 1911 style grip and hammer. Mine is in .30-30. I loaded it with mild loads with 168 gr. Sierra match bullets for handgun silhouette. Super accurate.

I have not pursued the links, but I do have an MOA Maximum in .260 Rem

They might still be in business.

Falling block,17-4 steel, good scope mount, great trigger, safety moves a transfer block,so,safe to carry with one in the pipe.Single action 6 gun look.

14 in bbl,I get about 260 with 120 Ballistic tips and about 5/8 in groups.

I just checked there is a current website, they are now in Sundance Wy,and sell for under $1000.

sorry " not for me "

if thats the price I could do alot with that kind of money , it was pretty but I could get a Colt Python & have not only 5 more shots but a few extra dollars to spend , never saw any use for an over priced single shot that is really a cut down rifle that if you made you would be in a federal prison ...... Exactly. Not that I wouldn't love to have one of these, but that 15C would go a long way in T/C barrels, along with a frame and a good scope.

Were we all mean and women of means, we'd buy one in every caliber! But working stiffs that most of us are, this is too dear to buy. It is a gorgeous design, though. Beautiful work to be sure. For all those dollars I'd just have to buy ammo!
