Does anyone have data on the effect a standard double wallboard wall has on 00 Buckshot?

I guess it would depend on whether or not there is a person standing in front of the wall, and how fat they are.

I recently tried it on a refrigerator....It all stayed inside (full penetration of outside), pellets deformed (flattened somewhat)...7.62x39 HP and 9mm hardball both passed clean through both sides, as you would expect.... So, it certainly penetrates less than pistol would...Kinda subjective test, but it gives some idea...I'll have some scrap building materials form remodeling project soon, will try some more "scientific" testing.

I used to have an old HD shotgun book in which the author tested 00 buck on all the available interior wall materials.
His test determined that NO standard INTERIOR wall construction would stop buck shot. In fact, few EXTERIOR walls would. One of the few wall materials that would stop buck was cinder block.
Among the tested materials were wall board and the old plaster and lath construction.
He stated that there was not much of anything in a normal home that would stop buck, including TV's, fridges, and furniture.
His advice for a middle of the night HD situation was to roll off the bed to the floor, and just blast away right through the walls, furniture and all.
