Has anyone used, and would recommend, any online/internet gun dealers for purchasing shotguns? Thanks for the help.

I don't know any in particular but you can always try Gunbroker.com, kinda like ebay for guns.

I've sold on this site and they do make things easy. No problems. As to buying, never have but several freinds have and had no problem.
Good luck. Read all the descriptive material and view pix carefully.
Know what you are buying before buying.
