What do you guys think of this sight. They have some good prices and am wondering if anyone has purchased a gun from these people. My biggest question is how am I going to get the gun once it is paid for? I live in california and I am not sure if it is possible to have the thing mailed. Do I have to go throw the 10 day background check and if I can't have it delieved to my home do I have it delieved to my range/gun store?

Unless you have an FFL license you can't buy a gun unless you go through a dealer. Handguns and rifles through dealer to dealer transfer only.
If you have a gun shop you frequent they may give you a copy of their FFL for you to purchase and have it shipped to them. Then they will charge you a fee to do the paperwork. This may also differ in the State of Kalifonia.
Hope this helps :)

I live in California and have done this quite a few times. The biggest problem is finding a dealer (FFL) who will receive it for you and do the government paperwork for a reasonable price. You can get leads from the big gun sales boards and auctions (look under something like "finding a transfer dealer"). Check www.gunsamerica.com, gunxchange.com, gunbroker.com, etc.

I have a guy who does this for me. He charges me $30/gun, and a little less for inexpensive guns (Makarovs, etc.).

You'll have to pay shipping, along with sales tax, and DROS (just like in a store), so it isn't worth it unless you find a really good deal or can't get what you want locally.

Feel free to e-mail me for more info.
