One more Ruger

Why get One more Ruger & Pictures

Bought the LCR 357 mag with CT grips for my wife today. Should get it in a week. Bought it online from Buds and they were, for the second time, very classy and upfront and honest. I traded an old Taurus and old Rossi and it was basically a wash. Also bought a box of 110 gr. Hdra-shok and 90 gr. Hornady 38 specials.
Will post pics when it comes.
Everyone of you who wrote and commented we'd like to thank. I'm an expert in my field not in guns. All of you made this a much easier job for me.
Respectfully,
Doc et al.

Bud's did a trade for the Taurus and Rossi?
Did Buds pay for the shipping of YOUR two guns?
Glad to hear you decided on the .cr .357.
Let us know how it shoot's.

Talked to one guy who has one for his CCW, and he shot the Buffalo Bore heavy bear loads through it. Said that the Ruger emblem on the hogue grip got tattooed onto his palm for a little!LOL

Hi HVR,
YES. Buds paid for the shipping . The only thing extra was a box of Fed 38 spec 110 grain Hydra-shok. That I paid for and gladly.
Respectfully,
Doc

Cool. Anxious to hear how y'all like it, especially with the CT grips. I hear tell those aren't quite as recoil absorbing as the Tamers so definitely wise to start on the light load end to start.

Absolutely Slim. You hit the nail
On the head. Great advice from my
First purchase & now 2nd purchase.
Will post when it arrives. Wife finally
Is excited about this.

Congratulations Doc !
A fine choice for sure, can never go wrong with a Ruger revolver. One of the last truly great things left that makes you proud to be an American.

Congrats guys you've got a very versatile revolver.Hornady's Critical Defense line has tested well in expansion tests. You may want to try them also.Good Luck. :D

Yes. This was much more difficult to do then when I bought GP100 for myself.
Anyone who's ever shopped with wife or sig other and she says "what about this dress or shoes"? then, God forbid you screw it up. Yep, this was real interesting. I'm 99.9% sure we got the right gun. If not, I still got a great small
Ruger that's a lot easier to carry concealed then my 4.2" 357 mag.

just a fast FYI. I placed the order Tuesday and my FFL here in Tn will have it tomorrow. That's very good service. Maybe because I'm a repeat client??
This is impressive.
Doc

That sure is Doc.
Have fun. Load it lite at first, maybe even go .38's first. Work your way up. If you do go .38's first clean the cylinder before you go hot. (sometimes it's hard to get the .357 in with the powder residue) And what ever you do make sure especially if your at an indoor range to make sure you have good ear protection.

Hi Tin,
I do not intend to shoot full boat 357 mags out
of the new LCR. Those babies are for
My GP100 4.2" 357. This LCR will only
Shoot 38 specials & 38 P+'s. I've shot 357
Mags from a Snub before. Took a
Couple of days for the hand to stop
Tingling. Damn that hurt.
