One manufacturer, if you had to replace them all

Let's say a geologic event swallowed your gun safe and you could replace everything, but they all have to be made by one firearm manufacturer.

Who makes the best lineup for you

As long as the ARX-160 is available, I'm going with Beretta.... :D

Well, that’s just the reason I avoid know fault lines and active volcanoes. However, if said incident did occur I think S&W would be my choice simply because of their broad product line. They could supply rifles, semi-auto handguns & revolvers.

It's an extremely tough call.

If Ruger had a good shotgun line, they would probably be the winner. It seems a bit curious that they never really made significant inroads in that area.

Since I can't think of anything better right now, I vote Browning. They seem to have a great rimfire selection in both rifles and pistols, a great variety of centerfire rifles, and an excellent shotgun selection. Their centerfire pistol lineup is significantly lacking, however.

What's wrong with the Ruger Red Label?

That said, I can't think of a single manufacturer that makes everything I have, though I suppose Beretta, CZ, and FN would all come close.

The Red Label is overpriced and not a very good gun. Ruger should come up with a dead nuts reliable pump that sells at a decent price. The Red Label was an attempt at an upscale gun. They gave it an upscale price, but not the performance to match the price.

Baikal would be a contender

I don't think they lead the field in any particular department, but they have something for every occasion: pistols shotguns, rifles, relatively cheap compared to others, and I think they are fairly robust and durable...

No revolvers, though... :(

I am kind of heavy on pistols, so I guess I could go with Beretta: I love the 92 line, the Neos is a fun plinker, and the PX4 line offers some good choices for concealed carry. I personally don't shoot long guns much, but they have some choices. The only thing absent is modern revolvers, and I have kind of moved away from them in recent years.

Smith & Wesson,,,

I'm not arguing that they make the best guns,,,
But their revolvers fit me perfectly,,,
And their semi's are acceptable.

If I could only select one brand,,,
They would get my dollars.

I don't know about covering the full line up ( I agree, not possible), probably Smith & Wesson or Ruger. Both would give a broad selection of semi-auto's and revolvers along with some nice rifles (think I would lean towards Ruger). But if I look at which guns would have to be replaced ... the 92FS and the Cougar ... then I'd have to go with Beretta.

Not possible... or if it would be, I'd be stuck with something I'd really rather not prefer. For example, I'd be plenty happy with Sig Sauer for about 80% of my guns, but I'm not a huge fan of their rimfires and they don't make shotguns at all.

Probably the most possible maker would be either FN/Browning or the Freedom Group companies (if I had to pick one of those, then Remington). I wouldn't be thrilled with limiting myself to their options, but they'd get the job done.

Sig. I'd replace every gun with the following:

Revolver: Sig M1882
Handguns: Sig X-Five; P210; P290
Carbine: Sig 550
Rifle: Sig AMT
Shotgun: Sig Arms SA-5 Upland Hunter 12 gauge
Full Auto: PE57.

I love my Sigs but...

If I had to replace all my handguns with only one brand, I think I would go with Walther. We have both the PPS and the PPQ and they are the two best shooting guns we own. Very soft recoil for the calibur, unbelievably perfect triggers and they fit so well.

Ooohhh this is a good one. One of my favorite I have seen in a while.

It would have to be either Colt or Beretta. I am leaning more towards Beretta though.

Get the 92FS then the CX4 Storm to have mag interchangeability. Then they have tons of choices with shotguns too. They have little pocket guns, pretty much everything. Only one I would stay away from is the 9000S.

Colt does have the 1911 and many more ARs... its a tough one..

I'd have to go with CZ. I hunt and shoot, so I need hunting rifles and shotguns to go with the rest of my defensive and just for fun guns. CZ covers all the bases and does it pretty darn well.

Pistol: Everything from 25acp pocket pistols to the 45acp 97b and all the 75 versions. Even some damn nice 1911's if we count Dan Wesson since they got bought out by CZ a while ago.
Shotguns: Everything under the sun, semi, over under or pump, hunting or defensive. Plus all the "assault" rifle models they have.
Rifles: Hunting, target, long range and in everything form 22lr to the Dangerous game stuff.

I like the selection, I could do it all with one brand and be pretty happy about it with only one big compromise, no revolvers.
