Once again, the issue is who has the guns...

One thing that I just thought of. We have all heard of the "revolution" talk from our side if GOREbachev wins, but what about the other side of the coin?? O'l Jessie is already making noise about riots in the streets if W wins. We just might have to defend ourselves against an armed response from the left!!!!!
Be serious, stay calm.
First of all:
*IF* Bush wins (after all is said and done),
*IF* Gore does not concede, and
*IF* Gore permits riots in his name,
*THEN* we show our "proper" side.
Let the police and/or National Guard handle the rioters. We then have two choices:
1) We stay at home and let the Democrats get all the bad press. We could use that info for years.
2) If supporting Bush and the "law" would make the situation better for us, then WE hit the streets peaceably, dressed well, supporting "Truth, Justice, and the American Way".
Rioters will be a minority (no pun intended). Here would be our chance to win a PC battle for OUR side (for a change).
I'd be willing to sustain minor injury to win a major battle. If, however, while I am demonstrating peacefully in the name of law, order, and the Constitution, the police permit violent demonstrators to put me in fear of imminent serious bodily injury or death, then of course, I must protect myself.
Whatever we do, we must make sure the "other" side takes the heat.

GW has already won!
The window of "opportunity" for the riots has come and gone, GW has already won!! I think in their hearts most of america has accepted that. I saw some "poll" where 60 percent of people think gore should conceed. Another excuse to riot will have to be found.

If the worst comes to pass, I will not go out hunting. That's not my style. But let anyone threaten my family...
If necessary, of course I'd defend myself and my family.
However, it seems increasingly unlikely that there are going to be any riots. Even if there were, very few of the Gorons are armed.
