Taurus PT-145!

WOW what a barrel of monkeys!

Truely a pocket pistol, and 10+1 of 45ACP. Has me reconsidering the Glock option.

BTW in case your wondering, I went to a local range who had a rental Berretta 96D. Watched the guy clean it thoroughly before I took it and it MALF'D on the second mag to the point that I had to take it back to the range owner for help in getting it to function again. I had written the 92 off after bad experience with reliability problems while in service, but was asked to try one again here recently. JUDGEMENT: BERRETTA PISTOLS SUCK!

:barf:

I am now weighing options between the Taurus and the Glock 32.

How did the trigger on the Taurus feel? The ones I've seen and tried felt like I was trying to drag a piano across a gravel road with my index finger.

They look like neat pistols, and if they improved the DAO trigger I might even buy one in .45.

Trigger wasn't too bad. A little grainey right at point of break, but takeup was smooth.

I just can't get over the size and the 10+1. The percieved recoil was very light for a pistol of this weight. I thought it would be much more explosive, but I think it rates somewhere around a Commanders model 1911.

Now if my gunshop would open so I could price one........

Doc,
Which one is the Glock 32?
I have a full size G-21 and it too shoots
nice. My most accurate & easy shooting .45 ACP.

G32 is a .357 SIG

$180 less than the Glock with a lifetime warranty.
Dern its all starting to add up.
Gun design of the year!
Manufacturer of the year!
Extensive testing and evaluation, all poistive!

I may go to the Black, Black Bull that is.....

Sounds like a great gun. I don't have a single gun in 357 Sig. I like the .45's the best. But I have quite a variety of calibers.
I also do not own a Taurus. I just have never even shot one...except for a buddies R. Bull in .454 Casuel (sp?)...One round was enough for me!
Good luck with the new gun!
