Omega 38 Special Made in Germany`

I recently bought a 38 Special from a friend . I am new to owning handguns and also would like to know if I got a good gun and good price. Someone please call me or message me and help me with these answers. The pistol is nickel and blue steel barrel with a couple of symbols. One on the barrel with a z beside it, and one to the right of it on the gun with a z symbol ,then 67 then symbol and Germany written on the barrel as well. Any Help?

Thanks Johnny

Can you post a picture?

Worst case scenario is that it's yet another name for the RG/Rohm series. That manufacturer was to guns what Uwe Boll is to making movies :( and they developed such a bad rep that towards the end they adopted a bunch of different names...more than we can keep up with, or want to.

But we can mostly spot those turkeys on sight, there's some pretty distinctive characteristics...

Might not be though.

Your gun is probably a Weihrauch " Arminius ". They exported a .38 caliber Omega. Inexpensive revolver, 100 to 125 in excellent.
