Hi, group. Does anyone have experience with Olympic barrels? I'm considering the purchase of an Oly barrel in .357 SIG for a Beretta 96FS.

TIA,
Rich

Olympic Barrels have been good to me, I have one in a High Power and a Glock 19. The accuracy was improved in the Browning!! Quality B+ (needed to polish ramp on Glock)

I had a problem with the one Oly barrel I purchased. It was a drop-in SS 5" barrel for my USP45. It had problems chambering LSWCs. At least 1/magazine it would hit the ramp and not chamber. This wasn't the worst problem. With Remington Golden Sabers, the extraction of the shell would get caught on the top round in the magazine and get ripped from the extractor. I tried a heavier roll crimp hoping it would fix it, but it didn't help. I eventually sent it back before the 60 day full refund warranty ran out. It was quality stainless steel and was very accurate but it just wasn't reliable. In addition the chamber was supposed to be fully supported at the 6 O'clock position but wasn't.
