Olympic Arms PCR Question

I have an Oly Arms PCR-99. Does anyone have any knowledge about this rifle? The Oly Arms website doesn't acknowledge its existence. Parts have been interchangeable with other AR variants and it's very accurate and reliable. I'm just confused as to why I can't find more info about it.
 
According to marketing demands, Oly changes their rifle designation and features at times.

If yours is the target model (20" heavy target bbl), aluminum handguard, flattop, I remember considering buying one years ago.

For further info, you can also write Oly direct.
 
pcr stands for politically correct rifle.it came out in 1995 in responce to the ban on assault rifles in sept 1994.hence the name .
 
Thanks guys, I appreciate the help. The ar15.com website was quite helpful. I knew about the Politically Correct Rifle name and am familiar with the M16/AR15 but couldn't find specific info on the PCR-99 (Oly Arms has several PCR's listed but not 99). Anyway, I found what I was looking for by contacting Oly Arms directly.
