I live in Ca and well, I can get one tomorrow for 799 20" so the question is are they any good?

I have an Oly 20" heavy barrel upper. No problems with it and for me, it's hard to discern from any other AR.

My Oly 16" shorty with standard SS barrel outshoots my 24" chromelined BM barrel. The fit between the upper and lower is tight and doesn't require the accuwedge like most of my other ARs. I would give it a good look-over, and take her home. The only complaint I have with my OLY was some minor scratches and dents in the lower. Good luck!
 
Well I made a snap decision while i was up there today and decided to get it. I don't need the chromelined barrel cuz its not to humid out here, plus, if I have it, then I odn't have to worry about it later
it looked nice, some scratches on the upper under the carry handle. no big deal
 
Good choice Chink. I like my Oly, and I've seen worse finishes on Colts and Bushmasters.

Personally, I could give a rat's @$$ about a chrome-lined barrel. None of my other guns have one, so why should my AR. (hehehe....watch the comments fly)
