After no luck as yet with researching this I hope to get pointed in the right direction from smarter folks than I.

A friend has a .32 rimfire revolver with only markings of Olver-Garate & Son Manufacturer of Firearms on the barrel. Any information about its history would be welcome.

There was (is?) a company by the name of Garate in Eibar Spain that made revolvers for Britain during WWI.
